Self-driving is a popular and efficient way to explore Namibia. However, keep in mind that distances can be long and, while roads are generally well maintained, some can be bumpy. Choose a reliable vehicle, carry a map or GPS, and consider opting for tyre insurance. Also, we recommend refuelling whenever you come across a petrol station.
Finally, given Namibia’s limited water resources, please be mindful of your water use and help us preserve this precious resource.
