Encouraging Thoughtful Travel

At Zannier Hotels, we strive to create long lasting memories while preserving the natural beauty and cultural heritage of every place we are privileged to call home.

Leaving a positive footprint

Zannier Hotels is deeply committed to sustainable management, rooted in preserving our local surroundings. We strive to minimise on-ground impact while maximising the wow factor for our guests. Eco-conception guides everything we do, prioritising raw materials and energy efficiency, including limiting plane travel. We invest in renewable technologies like solar panels and double-flow ventilation, and actively conserve water through on-site treatment and bottling systems. Ongoing research ensures continuous improvement in our sustainability efforts.

Guardians of Culture & Heritage

From architecture and interior design to our supply chain, operations, and guest experience, we aim to uphold traditional values passed down through generations. Our warm hospitality is rooted in sharing the country’s beauty and traditions with respect and care. This includes supporting craftsmanship through thoughtful design and purchases, showcasing native customs, offering cultural activities, and celebrating local cuisine with cooking classes. Our ethos includes conservation and legacy preservation, exemplified by our efforts to protect the heritage of Île de Bendor.

Empowering Communities

Zannier Hotels fosters a diverse and inclusive culture worldwide, building sustainable relationships with local communities through direct collaboration, local techniques, fairtrade purchases, and workforce empowerment. Initiatives include the Zannier Holybaby Foundation in Cambodia, supporting two orphanages, and free English classes in Vietnamfor surrounding fishing villages. More than places to stay, Zannier Hotels serve as cultural and social hubs where staff and guests drive change. Passion and purpose guide us and, with one third of our General Managers proudly being women, we promote gender equality at all levels.

Responsible by Nature

Committed to preserving native ecosystems, Zannier Hotels embraces nature’s simple joys through sustainable practices like antique furnishings, avoiding single-use plastics, waste sorting, recycling, composting, and using biodegradable detergents. We protect flora and fauna via wildlife reserves in Namibia, Cambodia, and Vietnam, grow endemic plants, and cultivate organic produce. Collaborating with local farmers, fishermen, and NGOs such as the N/a’an ku sê Foundation, we created the Zannier Reserve, and provide ongoing support to the Shiloh Wildlife Sanctuary, and an anti-poaching unit protecting endangered species.
