Mauritius

Where ocean meets orchard in serene, tropical harmony

On the wild southern coast of Mauritius, where cliffs meet the ocean and the air carries the scent of fruit trees and sea salt, time slows to nature’s rhythm. This is a land shaped by volcanic earth and softened by tropical abundance—coconut palms swaying in the breeze, freshwater ponds reflecting the sky, and the quiet pulse of Creole culture echoing through the land. Here, Zannier Hotels embraces an island spirit that is both grounding and liberating, where beauty is found in stillness, and every detail draws from heritage, landscape, and the poetry of slow living.

An island of lush mountains, tropical forests, and powdery beaches, Mauritius offers a rich natural canvas surrounded by coral reefs and the Indian Ocean. The east coast, where our private estate resides, is known for its trade winds and serene beauty. The climate is tropical, with warm, humid summers (Nov–Apr) and cooler, drier winters (May–Oct), making it a year-round destination.

Mauritius welcomes travelers with straightforward entry: most nationalities enjoy visa-free access for short stays. A valid passport, return ticket, and accommodation confirmation are typically required upon arrival.

The island is served by Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport, with direct connections from Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. From the airport, the estate is accessible via private car transfer or helicopter for an elevated arrival.
