Namibia

Endless skies, silent sands, and the soul of the wild.

Namibia holds a stillness that is almost sacred—a place where silence stretches across ochre dunes, and time is measured by shifting light and wind. Zannier Hotels draws inspiration from this vast, elemental beauty, crafting retreats that honor the desert’s poetry and power. Far from distraction, the desert invites clarity: golden savannahs, connection to self, to sky, and to the raw, untouched earth. Every detail is intentional, every view a reminder of how little is needed to feel deeply alive. In the heart of the Namib, luxury takes on a quieter meaning—one shaped by solitude, softness, and the eternal rhythm of the land.

Endless deserts, golden savannas, and limitless skies: Namibia is divided between the coastal Namib, arid and mysterious, and the central Highlands where wildlife thrives. Blessed with over 300 days of sunshine annually, it can be visited year-round. Austral winter (April-September) offers bright days between 20 and 25°C, though nights can be cool, down to -10°C in the desert. The hot dry season (October-December) maintains ideal conditions around 25°C with very little rain. The wet season (December-March) warms the interior between 25 and 34°C, while the coast remains temperate at 20°C. Rainfall remains intermittent, concentrated in the north.

Since April 2025, visitors from 33 countries, including the US and many European nations, require a visa (available online or on arrival, ~US$90). A passport valid for six months with one blank page is mandatory. Other nationalities may still qualify for visa-free entry up to 90 days.

International flights arrive via Hosea Kutako International Airport (Windhoek), with connections from Johannesburg, Frankfurt, and Addis Ababa. Road transfers or charter flights are used to access remote lodges and desert areas.
