In the evening, Omaanda’s restaurant offers a culinary discovery of Namibia with live cooking led by Namibian chef, Maria Mumbala. Four courses celebrate local, seasonal produce including ‘game’ meat, fresh fish and vegetarian dishes.
Omaanda has two bars: on the edge of the 15m heated pool, the pool bar serves cocktails, juices and light snacks between midday and sunset. The Lounge Bar is open from 5pm to 11pm with a large ‘Boma’ – an open fire place – to share stories from the day and relax with games, handcrafted cocktails using African botanicals and stargazing under the night sky.
