The best time to visit Siem Reap is during the dry season, from November to April, when temperatures are cooler and rainfall is minimal. This period offers ideal conditions for temple exploration and outdoor activities, with temperatures typically ranging between 20°C and 30°C. December and January are considered optimal months, offering the most pleasant weather with cool temperatures and clear skies. They also are the busiest tourist months.

The rainy season (May to October) offers its own unique charm – lush green landscapes, dramatic afternoon storms, fewer crowds, and lower accommodation prices. While there’s more rainfall during this period, many visitors enjoy the atmospheric beauty and authentic local experience that comes with traveling during Cambodia’s quieter months. Rain typically comes in short, intense bursts rather than all-day downpours, often leaving afternoons clear for sightseeing.

Zannier Phum Baitang is located west of Siem Reap International Airport, a mere 80 minutes’ drive through scenic Cambodian countryside. The resort offers a premium limousine transfer service at an additional charge, providing comfortable, air-conditioned transportation with meet-and-greet service and luggage assistance for a seamless arrival experience. Alternative options include airport taxis, tuk-tuks, or ride-hailing apps like Grab, though the resort’s limousine service ensures the most comfortable journey to this tranquil destination. Positioned away from the bustling city center and approximately 20 minutes from the Angkor Wat temple complex, the resort provides a peaceful retreat while maintaining access to Siem Reap’s main attractions. The Cambodian government offers visa-free entry for citizens of certain countries, primarily ASEAN members. For most other nationalities, a visa is required to enter Cambodia. For those who need a visa, Cambodia offers two convenient options:

  1. E-visa: Apply online at least 4 days before travel through the official website: https://www.evisa.gov.kh
    • Cost: $30 USD for tourists
    • Valid for 30 days from the date of entry
  1. Visa on Arrival: Available at international airports and some land borders
    • Cost: $30 USD for tourists, payable in cash
    • Valid for 30 days from the date of entry
    • Requires a passport-sized photo

All visitors must ensure their passport is valid for at least six months beyond their planned stay in Cambodia. Starting January 1, 2025, all travelers to Cambodia will be required to submit an e-Arrival Card within 7 days before their arrival.
